Day 2

I’ll have to keep this short, a few sleepless nights definitely caught up with me last night in a somewhat spectaclar way but I had a blast all the way up to it.

Definitely a priceless event but yesterday I got a chance to catch up with some Microsoft folks and apparently they hold this blog in a much different light than I do. This blog has always been my diary, I am not sure how my professional writing ever confused someone into thinking I’m a journalist or a reporter. Either way, since that’s the impact I apparently have Ill think about making more thoughtful posts. Do not worry though, I will still write this in notepad with complete disregard for proper spelling, punctuation, articles and english language in general.

Two key items of note:
1. I was extremely impressed with Robbie Uppercrofts presentation and they even claimed they are not as open and ready to share as we are in USA. Ill track them down with some questions tomorrow, they seem to be executing some programs that we in OrlandoSBS have only dreamed about.

2. At the SBS User Group leaders meeting I got the “Most enthusiastic and Passionate” award. Out of all these impressive and motivated people that drive me to do what I do, I was the most passionate? I was quite shocked, I must admit, but then they gave me a Zippo lighter big enough to start NASA shuttles to go through the airport security with.. On 9/11 nonetheless. 🙂 Pretty funny, I know. I’m pretty impressed, I have to admit, I love seeing some validation for my efforts, especially from outside of my direct area of influence.

More on Robbie, Eric Ligman, Charles Van Heusen and others in the wrapup on Monday.
