PDC: What’s next?

I don’t know yet since its so early in the development, but I can tell you it looks GREAT! Here are some of the new things coming with Office 12, SharePoint and some fun stuff too:

First take a look at the video of the next SharePoint. You can tell where this was recorded, it has that famous bright-orange Microsoft coffee cup. Can’t wait that long? Well I got more good news for you (I know I’m gonna get slapped) but you can upgrade sooner than you think! WSS Service Pack 2 is coming out by the end of the month! (I’ll take that slap now). Actually, SP2 is going to support ASP.NET 2.0 web parts, something that even SPS can’t do at the moment.

Just in case SharePoint and Office are not your bag baby, here are other good news: Xbox is coming before Thanksgiving. Great news for me since that makes it easier to buy gifts, I just have to upgrade my current presents and be done!
