Software Assurance Changes

Remember that the Software Assurance webcasts are scheduled for today. I have written earlier about the rumors regarding changes on the Enterprise side. Wonder what else is coming up? Join the webcast or come here later tonight for an update.

Update: Ah crap, they really pulled out the infomercial people to do this presentation. One of them was so animated he almost shook my screen. What an infomercial, and I quote: “While we are adding all these great benefits, we are not taking away any of the existing ones!”.. and if you call now, we’ll throw in a free blender! They even had a call-in testimonial. After the event, the form was broken. So here’s the skinny on Windows Fundamentals and general Software Assurance page. Bink also adds in that Windows Vista Enterprise Edition is going to be available to customers through SA.

Shame on you “Microsoft Studios”. You’ve taken a serious business subject and turned it into a complete mockery.

Update 2: Please accept my sincerest apology if my announcement of this topic took away from your valuable business time to watch this garbage. Microsoft Webcasts are far more professional than this one was and they always deliver relevant business and technical content, lead by engineers or product managers. This was a fluke, I apologize if I influenced your decision to watch it.
